General Policies

●Guests will be dismissed from their unit without any refund if their actions cause discomfort or annoyance to other guests and neighbors.

●Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, houses, or anywhere inside the Gion Inn.

●Only paid registered guests to Gion Inn are allowed to enter the guest house. Guests are not allowed to bring their pets.

●Guests are not permitted to bring any devices or appliances that can start or use a fire (except matches and lighters).

●Any guest who damages the building or facility is obligated to compensate the full cost, regardless of the cause (on purpose or by accident).

●Please take care of your belongings. The Gion Inn will not take any responsibilities for missing items from your guest house.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
The check-in time is between 3 PM. and 6 PM. The check-out time is 11 AM.

What is the maximum number of days guests can stay?
There is no limitation on the number of days to stay, except for the government-issued Visa restrictions.

What is the maximum number of guests per unit/house to stay?
It is 4 guests for Guest house 1, 2, and 3; it is 3 guests for Guest house 4.

Can minors (19 years old or younger) stay by themselves?
Unfortunately, minors cannot stay without an adult.

What are the room rates?

Will the room rate be changed based on the number of guests?

What is the rate for children?
Children between 7 to 12 years old stay with 70% of the charge for adults.
Children 6 years old or younger stay free of charge.

How can reservations be made?

When should the reservation be paid?
Please pay in full with a credit card upon making a reservation.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival will result in forfeit of deposit (100% payment of your booking).

Would it be possible to change the number of guests after making a reservation?

Are pets accepted to stay with guests?
Sorry, but Gion Inn does not have accommodations for pets.

Is there a parking space?
Gion Inn doesn't have guest parking. Please use a public parking space nearby.

Is there a shuttle service?
Gion Inn doesn't have a shuttle service.

Guests can go and come as they please anytime.
